Mental Health Ministry
Research shows 1 out of every 4 adults in America will be affected by mental illness at some point in their lifetime. Many will seek their pastor or religious leaders first. We believe the heart of Jesus is for people who are suffering.
The Mental Health Committee exists to normalize these mental health needs in church. We strive to cultivate these elements in our ministry culture:
Belonging in God’s family
Education in mental health
Bridge to community resources
Safe space for deeper connection
Healing from trauma
Rejuvenation for sustainable ministries
